Q&A: What are some great outdoor and indoor games for a group of kids?

Question by christinaramirez0408: What are some great outdoor and indoor games for a group of kids?
This summer I am trying to putting together a Kid’s Club at the apartment community I work at. I am in need of some games I can play with them (Indoor & Outdoor). I am just trying to get something put together so the kids will stay out of trouble during the summer. I will only be having it twice a week for about an hour or two.

Best answer:

Since it is summer go to Walmart and get some little $ 1.00 clay pots, Potting soil, And packs of seeds. Then buy some finger paints and let them decorate their pots and plant a flower that they will take care of alone and be proud of.

    Indoor:
Watch cartoons or movies. Play a game. Cool crafts. Jump on an indoor trampoline. Learn how to cook a favorite food. Play musical chairs. Play hide-n-seek. Play duck-duck goose. Call a friend or family member on the phone. Play some educational computer games (online or ones you buy out of store). Learn how to do a crossword or word search (word search will teach them how to spell words). Color in a coloring book. Listen to music. Cleaning (hell, you’d love it to have kids clean your apartment!). Play a video game. Learn to read a book.

    Outdoor:

Freeze up or TV tag. Limbo. Rollerblading. Rollerskating. Going for a jog. Jumping on an outdoor trampoline. Swinging on a swingset. Swimming in the pool. Scavenger hunt for items outside (children get to keep items they find). Riding a bicycle/tricycle. Sliding on a outdoor water slide you buy at Walmart. Teach the dogs or animals new tricks. Jumping rope with a group.

Have a look at http://www.enjoyagame.com as this side has both indooor and outdoor games (there are a lot of other sites around also). Another place to look would be http://www.wikipedia.org and search for games
